Since March 2008, Colorado Springs has been taken by a storm of tassels, sequins, feathers and rhinestones as Colorado’s burlesque and male-burlesque troupe, Peaks and Pasties have gathered great popularity with an ever-expanding fan base, due to its unique style of entertainment. Performing burlesque has proven to be an empowering experience for audiences and performers alike, and is an engaging and fun source of creative expression.
Peaks and Pasties - Colorado’s Burlesque Super Troupe, burlesque, boylesque and vaudevillian variety troupe. In every show, classic, traditional, vaudevillian and modern talents, along with the art of theater and burlesque is incorporated. Burlesque has enjoyed resurgence in popularity in the past few years; it’s truly an American performing arts form, and Southern Colorado has become a focal point of talent.
Peaks and Pasties Mission Statement:
PNP is derived by its mission to celebrate women and men of all races, ages, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender/transexual, queer/questioning, intersex, and allied/asexual/aromantic/agender, shapes, and sizes giving participating members an opportunity to develop and showcase their individual performing art talents (within the approved guidelines of the President and CEO of PNP and its Veterans/Members ), with an emphasis on burlesque. As a result of intensive workshops and continual training, PNP will provide first class, variety show performances at venues throughout Colorado Springs, Colorado without limiting itself to that location, and inspiring all those in attendance to celebrate their bodies and realize beauty through the art of burlesque. PNP will be a prominent force in the community with a passionate commitment to charity work.
IN 2017 THE CHAMPAGNE CABARET WAS BORN
The Open Minded Gold Room and Colorado’s Burlesque Super Troupe, Peaks and Pasties, are teaming up to bring The Gold Room’s Champagne Cabaret to the nightlife scene in downtown Colorado Springs. This will be Colorado Springs’ first and only full time Cabaret. Their goal is to bring a wide variety of weekly entertainment to downtown Colorado Springs.
BUNNY BEE AND ROMEO UNCAGED have been bringing first class shows to the Cabaret since its inception.
Bunny Bee™ began modeling full time in 2007 and has won prestigious notoriety within the modeling industry as a model. She has broad experience within the industry, and has worked with many different and well known photographers, companies, promotional, variety of different bikini companies as well as Playboy.
Bunny Bee joined OFFICIALLY Peaks and Pasties in Colorado Springs in March of 2009, and became a Co-Director/Producer in 2010. She is now known as the troupe's Head Diva in Charge. She has been performing with the troupe locally since her debut in April of 2009, and has made guest appearances worldwide making her a known International Burlesque Performer. She has competed in many Burlesque Festival Competitions and in 2012 won the physical fitness Golden Pasties award at the prestigious New York Burlesque Festival. She is a Director/Producer/CEO of Peaks and Pasties, Owner/Co-Director of The Colorado Burlesque Festival, The Champagne Cabaret, and in 2013 was elected as a Board Member of The Burlesque Hall of Fame ("BHoF") and now sits as the Chair. Bunny Bee has a huge following of fans both in the burlesque community as well as her modeling.
Romeo Uncaged is the Bad Boy of Burlesque. He is the Executive Producer for Peaks and Pasties. He has been performing and producing shows since 2015. In that time he has performed all over the US and has won several titles to include: BurlyPics/GLCC 2020 Golden Ambassador, ABurlyQ 2018 Best Group Act, Golden Legends Championship Challenge 2018 Best Variety, Golden Legends Championship Challenge 2017 Best Neo Burlesque. He has performed 4 times in the Colorado Burlesque Festival and has performed in the opening group number at the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender in 2019.
Romeo is a former Olympic Judo athlete, MMA fighter, and CrossFit Competitor. When making the crossover into burlesque, he was mentored by burlesque legends, Camille 2000 and Judith Stein. Romeo is on a mission to compete and win the coveted title of King of Burlesque at BHoF coming soon!
In 2008, Madame Gem stepped off the opera stage, and stumbled right into Lola Spirtfire’s Academy of Burlesque. Joining Peaks and Pasties in its inaugural year, Madame Gem has wooed audiences with her siren song and rubenesque figure ever since. Currently the Assistant Director of Peaks and Pasties, she enjoys producing comedic musical parodies and inducing fits of laughter as a regular Master of Ceremonies.
Allie Cat was tricked into doing the Peaks and Pasties workshop by Bunny Bee in August of 2010. Thinking it was just a class to learn about the history of Burlesque, Allie Cat went to the "class". Unbeknownst to her, it was to actually become a performer and she tried to walk out. Now 10 years later she is known as the Two Titty Kitty, has had the opportunity to perform at Colorado Burlesque Festival several times, assists with the Peaks and Pasties workshop teaching and mentoring and is the HR Executive for Peak and Pasties. She loves being a part of our troupe whether it's performing, kittening, assisting with producing, or participating in community events.
Known as the Buff Beauty with the Bangin' Booty, Foxie Dreame has been a member of Peaks and Pasties since 2015. Foxie has always been an avid supporter of the arts, as well as a local theater performer. Since joining Colorado's Burlesque Super Troupe, she has become a regular personality on the Champagne Cabaret stage, as well as MC, producer, and HR representative with PnP.
Locally, Foxie has performed at the prestigious Colorado Burlesque Festival, both as a soloist and as part of Peaks and Pasties' group numbers, and was a showcase performer at the 2017 Golden Legends Champion Challenge. Foxie has also earned many opportunities to perform nationally, including being a feature and a part of the production team at Burly Pics and GLCC in 2020 in Ogden, UT, as well as being selected to dance in the opening number in the 2019 Weekender at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, NV. She has been the recipient of several titles, to include Best Group Act at ABurlyQ as 1/3 of a trio in 2019, as well as 1st Place in the Colorado Open Burlesque Championship that same year.
In addition to performance art, Foxie is passionate about perpetuating the practices of self-love, body and sex positivity, and inclusivity. Her personal mission is to help others see how perfect and beautiful they already are, and sees burlesque as an avenue to do just that. These are but a few of the qualities that draw her to the burlesque community in general, and Peaks and Pasties specifically.
Riff Bender is the harmonic blend between the pin up next door, nerd, and bad girl extraordinaire. Cranking up the volume on the stages from an early age, she made an easy transition into the bump and grind of burlesque in 2015. After graduating from Peaks and Pasties Academy of Burlesque, she slide into overdrive as a member of Colorado’s Burlesque Super Troupe, becoming a producer, as well as performing as a regular with Peaks and Pasties. Riff has also performed at Heavy Rebel Weekender in Greensboro, North Carolina, and in Peaks and Pasties group performances at the Colorado Burlesque Festival. She is the sweetest note you'll ever play!
She wanted to be a ballerina when she grew up, but instead Jenny de la Merde discovered Colorado’s Burlesque Super Troupe, Peaks and Pasties in 2017 when she relocated to Colorado and has been performing with them ever since. She has had the pleasure of performing at the 2019 Dallas Burlesque Festival and participating in a group number at the 2018 Colorado Burlesque Festival. Jenny has had the honor of competing twice in the Colorado Open Burlesque Championship and once in Peaks and Pasties’s very own Pasties Awards as well as competing in the Golden Legend Champion Challenge in 2020 under the mentorship of burlesque legend, Tiffany Carter. She enjoys drinking cheap beer and knitting when she isn’t dancing.
Cupcake Coquette has been a member of Peaks and Pasties for over five years and a producer for three years. Cupcake is also a competitive pole sport athlete and has been for almost seven years, taking second place in the Pole Sport Organization's Mountain Championships in 2019. Cupcake was the third place finisher in the Colorado Burlesque Open in 2019. The Best Variety act went to Cupcake in the 2018 Peaks and Pasties Pastie Awards. Cupcake has also performed numerous times at the Colorado Burlesque Festival, including choreographing the group act for Peaks and Pasties in 2019. Cupcake is Peaks and Pastie's original aerialist performer, combining the art of strip tease with the high-flying strength and grace of a pole athleticism.
Always be yourself. Unless you can be a dragon. Then always be a dragon! Alexander Draegon took those words to heart in a big way. He delights in showing audiences exactly who he is: the biggest nerd around! One of the newest producers, he has wasted no time putting his unique flair in the shows he produces. He loves cosplay and attending various anime and comic conventions. His performances are often parodies on some of his favorite fandoms, including Disney and marvel characters.
